OUR COMPANY
DriveSmart Training Academy is a driver training institution
with a passion to assist fleet owners and fleet managers realize operational cost savings. Our Driver Training approach is based on over 20 years of experience both in vehicle operations and in training.
At DriveSmart Training Academy ,we pride ourselves on the
expertise of our accredited trainers in Commercial Vehicle of all shapes and sizes. Over the past 5 Years, Drive Smart has
ventured into various industries to meet training needs
including Mining, Emergency Services, Defence, HealthCare,
People Movers, Trucking & Logistics.
DSTA intervention programmes have not only realised fleet
savings in maintenance related cost and fuel but have also
realised increased profitability as a result of driver behaviour
measures across the spectrum.
In 2017, Iveco South Africa appointed DSTA as the only driver
training provider for Emergency Medical Vehicles.

established in 2015 to offer services in various
sectors of the Transportation Industry.Our vision is
to offer a one-stop training facility for all driver
training needs in Vehicle Familiarization ;Defensive

DRIVER MANAGEMENT
Our experience in Fleet Management has allowed us to develop programmes and products aimed at supporting the effective and efficient running of fleet operations. Here we introduce interventions to assist Fleet Managers.
FLEET CHECK
In a quest for optimizing fuel for fleets we identified a key need to secure fuel use and fuel safety. The increasing incidences of fuel theft and loss whilst in operation led to our offer of anti-siphon devices in the SA market. These we offer on Trucks & Vans.
FUEL BENCHMARKING
Fleet Operations are run on effective management of costs. In analysing TCO, fuel plays over 60% of the actual cost. In this regard, we conduct fuel benchmark tests to ensure that fleets operate efficiently in the respective routes.
VF TRAINING
Our encompassing product allows fleet owners to install a driver and vehicle management system that is enabled with Fleet Check Reports and Incident reports. This allows fleet owners to have a transparent view of their critical assets.
DRIVER TRAINING
Our end-to-end solution is possible as a result of the training interventions we employ to mitigate driver risks, correct driver behaviour, and continuously skill vehicle operators for optimal vehicle efficiency.
